LALVIN R7 - fast yeast
This strain is characterized by the rapid start-up of the fermentation process, even in the higher presence of alcohol and sugar. The ability to produce alcohol is extremely high (up to 19 degrees). The R7 strain is specific for the preparation of sparkling wines and champagne. It is especially appreciated in case of difficult fermentation or interruption of the fermentation process.
The yeast is suitable for the following varieties
Riesling and Walnut, Sauvignon and Chardonnay. Compliant at temperatures above 14 ° C.
Dosage and method of use
10-30 g / hl, dissolve 500 g in 5 l of water (35-40 ° C), do not mix and leave to stand for 20 minutes, then mix and leave to stand for another 5 to 10 minutes. Then add to the whole quantity, the must or the wine to be fermented. This preparation must not exceed 30 minutes and the temperature difference must not exceed 10 ° C.
